Our standards

Comparable tests. Visible evidence. No invented scores.

Floor care machines solve different jobs, so each category gets its own weighted protocol. Every published score must trace back to a repeatable observation or measurement.

The operating rules

Trust is part of the product.

01

Buy or disclose

We state whether a product was purchased, borrowed or supplied. Commercial relationships do not change the protocol.

02

Same-category tests

Products compete against machines designed for the same job. A robot is not scored with a cordless-vacuum rubric.

03

Claims stay labeled

Manufacturer specifications remain clearly labeled until independent measurements confirm or challenge them.

04

Updates stay visible

Firmware, accessories and retests can change a verdict. Important revisions belong in a dated update log.

Category protocols

Different machines, different weights.

A single headline score is useful only when readers can inspect the dimensions behind it. Each review should expose the category breakdown and the raw observations that matter.

The current product pages organize verified manufacturer specifications and the planned test dimensions. Hands-on scores are intentionally blank. They should be added only after the relevant test protocol is completed.
